Welcome to the Criminal Injuries Compensation Fund (CICF) Claims Management module of WebFile (CICF WebFile)
CICF WebFile has been set up so that Victim Advocates across Virginia who have completed CICF Training and been granted access to the system can submit CICF Claims electronically and track their status online.
Specific CICF WebFile functions allow:
- Submitting CICF Claims, including Victim, Claimant, Incident, and Expense related data, via secure web-based forms.
- Monitoring the status of submitted Claims online
- Saving Claim data in draft form until all required data for submission is obtained.
- Users to select data from enhanced data lists rather than forcing the user to enter the same data multiple times.
For a more detailed description, please download the CICF Claims Management User Guide, a comprehensive user manual that contains job aids, step-by-step instructions and background information. E-mail any questions or comments to email@example.com.
We recognize that our users may have various Internet Browsers and Operating Systems or devices. We like our visitors to have the best possible experience when using our CICF WebFile application. The Criminal Injuries Compensation Fund recommends Microsoft® Internet Explorer (IE) 9 for best results or any other modern web browsers with HTML5 and CSS3 compatibility.
NOTE: If you are using IE9 or higher and still encounter problems, please verify that your browser is not operating in Compatibility Mode. For instructions on how to disable Compatibility Mode, Click Here.
If you or your organization is interested in using CICF WebFile, please contact CICF at firstname.lastname@example.org. A CICF Representative will contact you to set up the required training sessions. Once the Training is completed, the approved individual or organization will be granted access to CICF WebFile.
